Moving Ladder Sections
What happened
While relocating a set of ladder sections two team members were moving the ladder assembly which was positioned on two 4-wheeled sawhorses. One team member was pushing the ladder forward while the other who was walking backward was steering it. During the movement a nut became wedged between one of the wheels and the floor making the ladder difficult to control. As the team members continued they encountered a relief cut in the concrete floor. The steering team member attempted to dislodge the wheel from the obstruction. There wasn 't an unsafe condition in the area causing the left ankle sprain. The team member indicated pain immediately after moving the ladder.
