Mercy Hospital Unity campus security officer reports on [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] was in [REDACTED] attempting to apply restraints to an uncooperative patient refusing a CT and was kicked in left index finger. Per EE the patient was on the ground when EE was holding down the patients leg to help apply restraints but pt kicked EE and hyperextended left index finger backwards. EE reporting pain and swelling at site post incident.
