Before the incident
walking in the OR and tripped over a cord
What happened
The power cord for the C-Arm x-ray device was lying across the floor and I tripped over the cord. I fell forward and forcefully hit my left shoulder on the corner of a stainless steel OR table as I fell to the floor. I landed on the floor with my left shoulder hitting the floor first before landing on my left knee then right knee. Finally I rolled onto my back. I had an instant sensation of a snap tear inside my left shoulder when it hit the table and there is now a continuous sensation of something being impinged. I have limited mobility in my left shoulder with difficulty lifting my arm. I have pain in my left lateral and right medial knee.
