Machining

On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] a machinist working in repair vanes when they reached into chevalier #1 to adjust the coolant hoses with their left hand causing a laceration. His left hand slipped and made contact with the edge of the wheel causing a deep laceration to his middle finger middle knuckle and index finger. The employee immediately started to head towards the nearest bathroom for some tissue the employee left a trail of blood while heading to the bathroom. The bathroom did not have tissues inside the employee went to repair the shipping & receiving. That 's when another employee noticed the injury and immediately notified the nearest manager. The employee was brought to an office for privacy. An uber was called to take them to [REDACTED]. The Employee used paper towels to subside the bleeding while waiting for the Uber. Once the Uber arrived the employee was escorted outside by a manager and EHS to the Uber.
