Around [REDACTED] [REDACTED] an EE was taking a broken lite off of a robot rack EE was working by themselves While attempting to discard a large piece of the broken lite into a hopper the EE lost control of his hand placement and the large piece of glass slipped striking their wrist and leaving a 3 inch laceration from the thumb to the top of the wrist EE was taken to the hospital and received 6 stitches EE did not have their thumb through the loop on their packing suit allowing the sleeve to slide up and resulted in glass contact to bare skin EE was returned to work on [REDACTED] with no restrictions This is a recordable incident
