Applying manual pressure to an active arterial head bleed while on scene.
What happened
A patient was being treated for a fall resulting in a external head bleed. Pressure was being held over the wound. Team member was removing her fingers from the area while another team member attempted to apply the I.T. Clamp. During this process 2 of the needles from the I.T. clamp caught team member 's finger puncturing her glove and her finger.
