Employee was in the process of setting up on a die piece (67907) in the stall.

EE was working in grinding stall 4. He was in the process of setting up on a die piece (67907) in the stall. While he was still holding the piece in a strap with the overhead crane he was in the process of setting the piece down on the turn table when it shifted and slid off of the turn table. It fell approximately 1.5ft. When it fell it caught his middle finger on his left hand in between the grinding rock and the die piece crushing his middle finger. At the time this happened the harley grinder was not in motion. It was parked in the holding position against the wall. The wheel guard was present. He was wearing gloves at the time.
