Due to the quickness of escalations poor staffing and assaultive behavior of the youth injuries are common.
What happened
during a hands on restraint the pt agreed to walk to the seclusion room. Staff let go of some physical restraint on the pt and the pt began fighting again. The same knee was caught under the pt 's legs and was kicked while I removed it.
