Responding to assist a fall patient

Butte Fire responded to a medical call for a person down at a residence off the [REDACTED]. When responders arrived on location they got out of the vehicle to help the downed person in the yard when two dogs ran up to the truck and lunged at the responders biting one on the right arm and tearing the shirt of another. Responders fought the dogs off and were able to get in the vehicle and close the vehicle doors then exit the scene and begin self-aid until an ambulance arrived for further treatment and transport to Matsu Regional Hospital.
