What happened
While IW was sitting in the lab chair he was typing on the computer. Once he was done typing he went to put his hands down to his side and caught his hands on his pocket with his middle finger. The IW was putting his hands down to his side for comfort while he waited for tensile test to finish testing. EE reported he was moving hands to put hands down and caught left third finger on pocket and he heard a popping sound EE reported now the tip of my finger is stiff and bent downwards. EE reported he cannot straighten left third finger. EE reported minimal swelling and no redness. EE reported he has applied ice pack to site.
