Before the incident
Employee was removing a sealant roll from their forklift forks. Injury occurred as they sat down back on the forklift seat after completing the task.
What happened
Employee dismounted a forklift to remove a roll of sealant from the forks. When they were dismounting their scissors fell out of their leather sheath and got caught between the seat and the seatbelt with the blade side facing up. [REDACTED] the employee returned to the forklift and as they sat down the scissors punctured their right buttock resulting in a deep laceration.
