The employee was cleaning the topping depositor and its parts. They went to retrieve more cleaner from the Sanitation Cage and returned to cleaning the equipment. Near the end of their shift when they removed their PPE they noticed the burn on their right forearm. The employee was unsure when contact with the chemical occurred as at the time of the report they were in no pain associated with the injury.
