Carrying a package to delivery location

While delivering a package at [REDACTED] Delivery Associate [REDACTED] Boston picked up a package without realizing that it was leaking. Shortly after handling the package she began to feel irritation and discomfort on her hands. Upon further inspection she noticed that the leaking substance had caused a chemical burn. [REDACTED] immediately pulled over to a safe location and rinsed her hands thoroughly with water to remove any remaining chemical residue. After taking first-aid measures she contacted dispatch to report the incident and then contacted LMET for further instructions.
