Before the incident
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] an EE was traveling south along the shipping dock main drive aisle on a tugger. During this their tugger shutdown on them causing it to come to a sudden stop. This sudden stop caused the EE to lose their grip on the tugger handle and due to their momentum they fell forward off the driver 's platform. The EE landed on their feet but felt pain in their leg. The EE was transported to the OHNs office and evaluated. Upon arrival to the scene the tugger was displaying error code E 150. I checked the battery connection to ensure it was fully connected which it was. The EE informed me as I was checking the connection that they had checked it as well during their pre-shift PIV safety inspection. The PIV was removed from service and transported to the maintenance area. Two members of ERT also responded to the scene and assisted the injured EE.
