Attempting to communicate with welder while welding
What happened
PCL approached employee that was welding on a Truck Center and shouted their name but the employee did not hear the PCL and kept welding. The PCL waited until the employee was finished welding and went to tap them on the shoulder to get their attention. As the PCL was reaching for the employee 's shoulder the employee was putting on the MIG gun on the weldment and contacted the PCL in the right rear shoulder area with the hot weld stinger resulting in a puncture.
