Before the incident
Employee was assisting another employee inserting a metal shaft into a wooden reel.
What happened
Once the shaft exited the opposite reel end the other employee pulled the shaft the remaining distance. The unexpected movement caused the shaft to move quicker than expected and resulted in the employee getting their left index finger caught between the shafts metal stop and the wooden reel end.
