The employee bypassed the machine guarding and did not perform [REDACTED] ([REDACTED]). He placed his hand inside the machine to get the conveyor belt to move. His left middle finger became pinched between the conveyor and the guard causing a laceration to the bottom of the finger and peeling back the skin at the tip.
