The associate went with his [REDACTED] Leader to retrieve additional floor scrappers. The [REDACTED] Leader passed two floor scrapers to the associate. The associate took them using a two hand hold but then switched to a one hand hold. When the associate released his grip and removed his left hand the blade swung down made contact with and cut his left thumb. The associate was transported to [REDACTED] for medical treatment for a laceration on his left thumb.
