Before the incident
EE [REDACTED] did not know it even broke off from the pin and only looked because of a very slight movement of his shirt.
What happened
As EE [REDACTED] was pressing a track pin into the left side track link on a D9. He was standing behind and away out of the line of fire with as the pin was moving inward into the link. He felt a slight touch on his left shoulder and looked down. That 's when EE [REDACTED] saw a spot of red. He removed that part of the shirt and saw that a shard had gone through the shirt into his skin. He was not able to remove it.
