Watching leader prepare to wrap the pallet
What happened
Leader on 2nd shift was preparing to shrink wrap a 5-gallon metal keg to a pallet for shipment. The keg weighed approximately 188lbs. The leader tilted the keg up approximately 1 2 inch to 1inch in order to place shrink wrap under the keg to being wrapping. As the leader lowered the keg another teammate tried to push some excess shrink wrap under the keg with his right hand. As a result the keg was lowered onto the other teammates hand injuring his right hand middle finger. Leader reported he has performed this task with this teammate 10-15 times over the 8 days the teammate has been employed at HDC
