At [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] Employee was working on urgent repair service for sterilizer leaking and smoking at ECHP SPD. Employee identified that the Heater was INOP and to remediate the environmental conditions employee made an attempt to turn off water. When employee was reaching for the shut off valve; employee Lower left arm touch hot pipe causing 2nd degree burn. Employee immediately went to urgent care on location for medical attention.
