Before the incident
There was a code blue in the care center which I presented for. Prior to the code blue being called I was in my office after finishing with my first pt.
What happened
Assisted placing the long board on the pt in order to lift them to the cart for transport on the count of three. Then placed at head of pt to provide bag ventilation during transport to hospital trauma room while someone was providing compressions. Several changes in position while cart was moving needing to stabilize myself. In the trauma room I exited the cart and other person went to exit the cart when their foot caught on the bed rail causing them to fall towards me for which I reached out my arm to provide stability.
