Before the incident
I was assisting in a Total Knee until the PA could get in the room. I had my eye protection on mask on. The patient had a vessel that sprayed out blood and into my eye. I immediately notified the surgeon broke scrub went into the sub station and rinsed under water for 3 minutes. I then told my supervisor and they sent me to the ED for a blood draw
