Operations - General Productivity

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] production operator got her left hand stuck in one of the mod 1 elevator infeed rollers and was bended backwards. Ops Supervisor immediately shut down the power to the roller conveyor and called maintenance to reverse the rotation of the rollers to release the employee 's hand. During this time Ops Supervisor call [REDACTED] to send EMS. Once Maintenance removed the guard to the rollers and were able to reverse the rotation of the rollers then they were able to free employees left hand. The EMS team arrived and they quickly took her to the hospital. Employee received restrictions from the hospital that the plant could not accommodate. Employee was diagnosed with closed displaced fracture of middle phalanx of left middle finger and restrictions of not being able to use her left hand or after being evaluated and cleared by the Orthopedic Surgeon.
