What happened
EE was using the bander to band a 9 pack of 420 cylinders at the West wall EE stated that they went to tighten the last band and said that the band was shorter than normal The EE stated that they used the shorted band They said the banding was overhang was 1 inch or 1 5 inches long SOP 05 20 section 3 9 states you should have at least 6 inch to clip By doing so they stated they placed their left hand closer to the bander The EE then stated that they used the shorter band and when they put the band into the bander they hit the trigger causing the glove on their left hand thumb to be pulled into the bander EE stated they immediately pulled their thumb out and contacted another employee for help
