Cutting water-diverting strip used for PBB. The strip requires that it be notched to fit with in-place fixtures. EE was cutting the notches for the strip. After he had gone through the material with his knife it released and then came up and hit his chin.

Employee was cutting the weather strip a.k.a. water diverter. He was cutting the bottom side of the strip. The horizontal cut had the knife going from one side to the other. Once the knife had cut the material it released and then came up into the employee 's chin. The knife caused a long enough (and deep enough) cut to require stitches. The onsite nurse examined employee and deemed that we take him to WorkMed for treatment.
