On [REDACTED] at approx 0005 employee was standing in the back of unit 351. She was bent over waiting to assist guiding a cot into the sled with a patient on it. She stood up quickly and hit the right occipital area of her head on a fixed structure in the top of the door trame. She did not lose consciousness. She did immediately feel blood in her head. She made the fire department and her partner immediately aware and aid was rendered. After direct pressure for several minutes bleeding was controlled. [REDACTED] was contact. OKC FO offered to ride in for transport to help with the patient and monitor the employee. Care was rendered at [REDACTED] where she received 1 staple and was released for duty effective ASAP.
