Employee was on the scene of a call for a fall. He walked outside and was talking to another medic about the call when he went to step down off the porch and slipped and hit face first on a cot. Blood immediately came out and employee tried to stand up but could not. Other medics assisted employee to the ambulance to stop the bleeding. Was transported to ER by ambulance.
