What happened
On [REDACTED] my finger was damaged on the jet bridge on [REDACTED]. I was closing the door after pulling the jet bridge back and while removing the iron that holds the door it smashed my finger. The iron that is used to fasten the door is not safe because it is very hard to release and also has rust. I then pull the adapter off the jet bridge to its correct place. I was able to get ice for my finger and also some Excedrin for the pain. It hurt so bad I couldn 't talk; my assist saw the pain I was in and asked what happened and after taking a breath I was able to tell her and the redcoat that was on duty about the incident.
