Positioning a patient

Patient was being uncooperative during exam. Patient was pulling out of machine and and trying to position herself. Patient was very heavy dead weight and difficult to position. Patient was also yelling that she hates this exam and cussing every time I even touched her or even when there was barely any compression. Yet she let me position compress and move her around to get all images. I was on the last image (LT MLO) and the patient did not want to keep her shoulder on the corner of the imaging board as I was lifting her breast and shoulder toward the board. Patient repositioned herself and pushed me backwards a little bit and that 's when I felt a pulling and a pop in my Mid Left Back. While I was finishing cleaning and telling patient on how she would get her results the patient left the room in the middle of the conversation and proceeded to walk into a another exam room while the other tech was in the middle of an exposure.

Strain

patient

I felt a pulling and pop in the middle of my left back area. After a few minutes I started to feel tightness in my left neck and shoulder area which then I felt a numbness and tingling in my left forearm and left fingers. Patient was being uncooperative d
