Walking into unit and reviewing patient charts prior to shift change.
What happened
I arrived on the unit and within minutes felt the beginning of an allergic reaction. Began sneezing and then broke out in hives. Noticed that my eyes were beginning to swell and was taken to the emergency room by a coworker.
