What happened
While administering ventilation to a patient in respiratory distress she lifted the BiPAP machine mask from the patient 's face. The air pressure led to the patient 's saliva particles making contact with her face lasting for approximately 5-10 seconds. This contact reached her face and potentially her mouth and eyes. Moreover the patient exhibited bilateral oozing leg wounds that tested positive for E. coli along with a green discharge in his eyes.
