What happened
Employee was working from an aerial boom lift by himself. He was in the process of installing a 10-foot piece of [REDACTED]. Employee was supporting the piece with his left hand and attempting to secure a screw using the drill in his right hand. The screw came loose and fell to the ground which cause the employee 's right index finger to slam into the wall directly in front of him. This resulted in bruising and minor lacerations. The employee dropped the drill and during this reaction brought his right hand back quickly which then caused his fingers to hit one of the bars on the lift. Employee reported the accident to his foreman at approximately [REDACTED] before their break and EDA 's safety supervisor on site was informed just before [REDACTED]
