What happened
Employee stated that at approximately [REDACTED] he was in the process of descending the stair tower in area 2 on his way to use the restroom when he slipped tripped on the second to last stair tread leading to him twisting his right ankle. The stair tower is currently under construction (concrete has not been poured) therefore it is currenlty staged with 2-inch insulation acting as the stair treads within the framing. The employee stated that the stairs were not properly barricaded to indicate that they should not be used to commute between floors. The stair that he tripped on was said to have been missing a piece of 2-inch insulation.
