What happened
During cardiac cath procedure MD attempted to perform a bubble study with two syringes. The syringe malfunctioned and somehow splattered blood and heparinized saline. I had a face mask and glasses on behind the shield but because I was looking in the opposite direction the blood went behind my personal protection.
