Lancing B-2 burner tube.

Furnace Operation Team Member (TM) was working on the west furnace in preparation for start-up due to a weekly PWBC (Pot-Wheel-Band Change). TM was lancing the B-row burners to get them cleared out and ready for start-up working on the second row burners (B-row) when the incident occurred. At approximately [REDACTED] while lacing B-2 burner an unexpected stream of molten copper projected out of the burner opening while lancing by TM. Molten copper reached TM who was wearing his high temp silver PPE and flame-resistant uniform underneath resulting in minor a first degree burn to right shin (2 X 4 area) and small burn spot above inside his right ankle.
