Before the incident
Removing copper build up from torch [REDACTED] tip.
What happened
Due to spout restrictions and resulting copper splattering Team Member was cleaning off the spout and copper build up on torch rosebud tip. Tools used to clean rosebud included wire brush and tools to pry and pick off copper build up. TM felt something in her right eye soon after completing task and used eyewash to rinse eye but irritation continued. TM was taking to local hospital where she was diagnosed with a scratched right eye cornea and no remaining debris that caused injury. TM was issued a prescription antibiotic eye drops - OSHA recoverable medical treatment.
