What happened
Employee incurred a pinch point injury to his left ring finger tip due to placing it between the shackle and the hook of the rigging. The operator of the crane lowered the spreader bar to enable the groundmen to unhook the load after the member was set on the trailer. As groundman (A) unhooked his end the spreader bar began to slightly sway due to the release of tension.
