What happened
On [REDACTED] Athlete was performing put work in OB PTL and felt consistent pain at the base of their left and right thumbs throughout the day. Athlete stated that pain progressed over the [REDACTED] (2.22.23 and 2.23.23). Athlete notified supervision at [REDACTED] and was brought to the safety desk. When asked about how they were pushing the put side buttons the athlete stated that they were pressing the button in a straightforward punch matter with their thumbs. The athlete was previously told by safety and supervision to not press the buttons in this matter (suspected root cause of a previous injury to the Athlete 's left thumb). Athlete injured left thumb at base on 8.25.21. Athlete requested to see outside care and was sent to Concentra at [REDACTED]. Athlete returned to work at [REDACTED].
