Holiday Clerk Assistant reported to management she injured her right knee on [REDACTED]. HCA stated the injury took place on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]. HCA called in on [REDACTED] to inform management she was not reporting to work and she was going to seek medical attention for an on-the-job injury. The documents that HCA gave to management was for [REDACTED] not the call-in date of [REDACTED]. Management noticed on [REDACTED] HCA did not show any signs of an injury walking in the post office on that day until she started to report the on-the-job injury to Management. HCA was processing mail up until [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] with no problems. HCA was asking other employees how to file for workman’s compensation before going to management to inform them she was injured on the job.
