Before the incident
Our third-shift maintenance technician just finished installing a cover for a motor located inside the [REDACTED] line just after the final inspection.
What happened
He then proceeded to step over the conveyor line. In attempting to bring his back leg over the line his boot caught the uni-strut on the edge of the conveyor line. This caused him to fall forward and hit his head on a metal bump stop causing two lacerations.
