Before the incident

Employee was asked to come and assist with removing a load bar so he could finish loading [REDACTED] trailer 1811K with a load of RP coils going to [REDACTED].

What happened

Employee got a 2x4 long wood board that we use to push the overhead dock door flaps up in order to load trailers he tried to use it to push a load bar that was hanging from the top of the trailer and the load bar slipped off the wood and struck him on the right side of his head and it started bleeding. The team lead came over to help him to the office to have a seat and started helping with putting pressure to his head with gauze and paper towels to capture the blood. Once paramedics arrived and took over then they took the employee to the emergency room.
