Stapling the open flaps of a cardboard box closed which encases the assembled toolbox.

While holding the flaps of the cardboard box in a closed position with left hand employee stapled the flap with pneumatic staple gun held in right hand. Because of the left hand and thumb position staple punctured left thumb.

Puncture wound with foreign body to left thumb without damage to nail.

Staple ejected from pneumatic staple gun.

Employee using pneumatic staple gun and while stapling cardboard box caught left thumb with gun puncturing staple into finger.
