Employee was banding box with a polypropylene strapping automatic electric bander.
What happened
Employee said the banding material failed to feed to the length necessary for banding the product. The employee grabbed a small piece of the banding material that had feed out and tried to manually pull more banding material out. When the employee pulled on the banding material they stated that the machine automatically retracted the banding pulling finger into nip point.

Tip of left index finger received partial amputation.
