Before the incident
Operator finished torqueing the brake caliper and when he tried to release the torque gun from the bolts the trombone fixture came loose fell and pinched his finger between the trombone fixture and a hyd. fitting.
What happened
Individual was sweeping the last remaining trash out of the bottom of the dumpster. The step was way too high to view the remaining trash inside individual stepped up to sweep what was left and fell inside the compactor spraining potentially breaking his knee. Could not get out of compactor without help. Also note that operators could not find the EMR button. Individual is seeking medical Attention. Safety Personal were notified immediately.
