Before the incident
Cutting the tape off the cable while changing the motor out from Kiln 5.
What happened
After [REDACTED] [REDACTED] had cut himself [REDACTED] went over to Kiln 5 to assist with finishing the job that [REDACTED] was working on. [REDACTED] was going to operate the boom truck since [REDACTED] was originally operating the truck but was providing first aid to [REDACTED] at the E-Shop. As [REDACTED] got over there he noticed that the tape still needed to be cut off the cable and since [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was still retrieving the new motor from the Sawmill [REDACTED] decided he would just cut the tape off. As [REDACTED] was cutting the tape he was gripping the cable with his right hand and using his left hand to hold his pocket knife and was cutting up and over the ball of tape (protecting the large split bolt) at the end of the cable and towards himself while applying pressure to get through the 3 layers of tape (rubber heat electrical) that protects it from the heat from the kilns. As he was cutting the tape his knife slipped off and he cut himself on the knuckle of his rig
