Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing by likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employee(s) were exposed to death or serious physical harm to employees in the employee(s) were exposed to death and/or broken bones from crushing injury by working under the suspended load: a) Frame Shop - Employee under 2000 pound mobile home frame tightening bolts with load suspended by electric hoist, on or about April26, 1990. Among other methods one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to block the load and support the load by stands.
