were exposed to crushing type hazards:
(a) 1397 Sugar Run Road, Venetia, Pa 15367;  On October 14, 1997,
employee(s) were exposed to being struck by wooden trusses, measuring 28
feet
long with a one foot overhang, while being unloaded from a flatbed truck.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to support the trusses at 25 ft. intervals; load banded trusses on the bed
of the trailer in order
to fill out the complete width of the bed; implement loading and unloading
handling procedures;
and follow pamphlet HIB-91, Truss Plate Institute, Handling, Installing, &
Bracing procedures.
