Section 5(a) (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment or a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards of collapsing masonry wall(s) located in the receiving dock area: Receiving dock area: Employees are exposed to a collapsing masonry wall approximately 10 feet high and over 60 feet long. Although bracing was provided there are various large cracks and loose parts exposing employees to the hazard, inside and outside of the area. Among other methods, a feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to close the area until proper repairs can be conducted. NO CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
