Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to head and body injuries from overhead falling loads: (a)Shell Roof Area - Employee(s) working under a twelve (12) feet by sixty (60) feet shell assembly suspended eight (8) feet above the floor by hoists. One feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to support the shell assembly with floor jacks capable of holding the load if a hoist(s) should fail. THE EMPLOYER WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OR SIMILAR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION STANDARD WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN ITEM NUMBER 2 OF THE CITATION NUMBER 1 ISSUED ON JULY 10,1986. AND ITEM NUMBER 1 OF THE CITATION NUMBER 1 ISSUED AUGUST 6,1990.
